Initiative
The initiator of the "National Program for Training Specialists in the Restoration of Cultural Heritage Monuments" was VAOKS in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian National Committee of ICOMOS.
Program Goal
The program envisages the creation of a modern education system for training restorers in Ukraine. The focus is on opening specialized departments in higher education institutions, organizing internships, including international ones, developing applied practice, and popularizing the profession among young people.
Training of Specialists
Particular attention is paid to improving the quality of training for future restorers, developing practical skills, and setting professional standards.
Award Ceremony
The event included an award ceremony for architect-restorers and students who have made a significant contribution to the preservation of Ukraine's architectural heritage.
